Geely SX11 interior shown with a raised multimedia display

Chinese car manufacturer Geely has recently released exterior photos of its upcoming SX11 crossover/SUV. These were shortly followed by some interior shots.

Based on the images provided, the car will be the first in its family to receive a multimedia display which is raised above the dashboard. It will also get a fully digital instrument panel and a squared-off steering wheel. The seats and the dashboard of the new Geely SX11 will be trimmed with brown imitation leather.

The car is based on Geely’s own BMA platform. It will initially enter the market with a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine capable of 177 hp (132 kW), partnered with a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission. The manufacturer promises to make a hybrid variant available later, but no further details are being given at the moment.

The car will be able to accelerate 0-100 km/h in eight seconds. Just how much fuel it consumes remains unknown.

The new Geely SX11 will go on sale in China in fall.
