The new Chinese SUV Geely SX11 hasn’t even been properly introduced yet, but the company is already spreading photos of its Sport trim version. The entire SX11 family will premiere on August 22, 2018.
Compared to the standard SX11, the Sport trim comes with differently-styled bumpers and radiator grille, twin exhaust pipes, and a massive rear wing. The Geely logos, the roof and the A-pillars are all painted black.
The interior greets with the same digital dashboard design, but the instrument panel now has a different color scheme. The middle part of the dash is finished with Bordeaux-colored imitation leather.
The company has provided no trim-specific performance data. The Geely SX11 Sport will most likely ship with the same drivetrain as the main series, namely a 1.5L turbo engine with 177 hp (132 kW) and a DCT box.
The car utilizes Geely’s own BMA platform, which will eventually be used in the production of other Geely vehicles, such as MPVs, hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs.
