The Geely Binyue Cool, alternatively known as the Coolray, can now be obtained in a special trim version targeting would-be champions.
The car is basically unchanged from the standard top spec, with a panoramic sunroof and driver’s seat power adjustments being the only notable additions. It starts from 103,800 Yuan, just a touch above the 99,800 Yuan of the top trim. There has been no announcement of an international release.
The original Binyue crossover (see video) received its latest update last summer. In addition to the ‘Cool’ suffix it received a revised exterior inspired by Lexus and a new engine rated at 181 PS (179 hp / 133 kW). The old one wasn’t far behind with 177 PS (175 hp / 130 kW). The base spec offered 10.25-inch and 12.3-inch dash displays, with paid options including leather upholstery, climate control and surround view cameras. Immersive interior lighting and wireless gadget charging were also listed under options.
