New photos of the soon-to-be-released Geely sedan have been recently published on the internet. If the emblem on the vehicle is any indication, then this model is called Emgrand. It looks very style-conscious and modern – just like other latest releases by Geely.
The car will enter its home market in China with a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine with 136 hp and a 1.4-liter V4 with 133 hp. Transmission type and performance data haven’t been disclosed by the manufacturer yet.
The new Geely Emgrand is going to premiere at the Beijing Auto Expo 2018 and arrive in showrooms in China shortly afterwards. The company declined comment on whether it gets released in other countries across the world as well.
Photos of another Geely vehicle, the crossover SUV Geely SX11, have recently been posted online as well. The car was built on a new automotive platform jointly developed by the Chinese engineers at Geely and their Swiss colleagues at Volvo.
