According to Sohu, Geely has concluded a contract with a Hungary-based company named Grand Automotive Central Europe to represent its brand in Europe. The all-electric Geometry C model will be the first to reach the market.
Geometry is recognized as the Chinese automaker’s most ‘fashionable’ and ‘intellectual’ of brands, which is probably why it will be the first to go on export. The details are unknown so far, but a popular spec of the Geometry C has it running a single electric motor with 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW). The car needs around seven seconds for the standard launch and offers up to 550 kilometers (342 miles) of driving range, according to the admittedly rather lax measurement standard adopted in China.
The distributor will reportedly launch sales in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary in the first half of 2023, followed by other countries later on.
Other Geely-owned car marques are already present in Europe, such as Lynk&Co. The company also owns the Volvo brand.
