Geely’s all-electric Geometry G6 sedan only debuted a year ago, but the automaker decided it needed a mid-life refresh all the same. The appearance stayed the same, but things look different in the battery department.
Earlier versions of the Geometry G6 were available with battery packs rated at 480 and 620 kilometers (298 and 385 miles) of range in China. The 2024 model year cuts the respective ranges down to just 410 and 500 km (255 and 310 miles). On the upside, a quick charge now lasts just 8 minutes, and going from 30 to 80 percent takes no longer than 20 minutes.
The exterior stays the same, while the interior gets a new dark-green trim and nothing else. There are now 13 driving assists available, including adaptive cruise control.
Sales will begin in mid-September.
