The Chinese Ministry of Industry and IT has posted the principal specifications of the Jiyue 07 liftback. The all-electric car has been co-designed between Geely and Baidu with up to 880 km (546 miles) of driving range per charge, IThome reports.
The five-door hot hatch is sized 4,953 x 1,989 x 1,475 mm (193.5 x 77.7 x 57.6 inches) large with 3,013 mm (117.7 in) between the axles. It is marketed as a business vehicle and may have either one or two electric motors, each rated at 272 PS (268 hp / 200 kW). The drive can be on the rear axle or both.
The base spec gets a 71.4-kWh battery and can cover up to 660 km (410 miles) per charge. You can option it with a larger 100-kWh pack and get the 880 km mentioned above. The dual-motor spec is bundled with the larger battery and does up to 770 km (478 miles) on a charge.
A peek inside reveals a fancy yoke-shaped steering wheel and a single display spanning nearly the entire dash width. Notable options include a couple of LiDARs for semi-autonomous driving and smart LED Matrix headlights that the company calls “AI-powered”.
