Geely KX11/Xingyue L flaunts a meter-long display

Chinese carmaker Geely has given its new Xingyue L SUV (a.k.a. KX11) a single giant dash display spanning one meter (39 inches) long. Look inside our gallery for a size comparison with the Tesla Model Y tablet screen, which is 47 centimeters (18.3”) wide.

No details were disclosed with regard to the features so far, but you may want to note the air vent embedded in the lower right corner.

Geely Xingyue L, which will go on sale in China later this year, will not be the only car on the market with an oversized display like this. The new Mercedes-Benz EQS, among others, features a 56-inch display that combines the functions of three monitors in one.

Just like the Geely Xingyue/Tugella (see video) and the Xingrui/Preface, the KX11 uses the Volvo CMA platform. It will ship with a turbo four-pot available in 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) and 238 PS (235 hp / 175 kW) versions, and a hybrid version may also appear later on.

A full reveal is scheduled for the Auto Shanghai show due next month.
