According to Geely, the part-electric version of its Xingyue L SUV – also known as the KX11 in other countries – will start from 173,700 Yuan (27,260 USD) on the domestic market.
The new version combines a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a DHT Pro hybrid drivetrain capable of multiple drive modes including all-electric. The output maxes out at 244 PS (241 hp / 179 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, enabling a sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.9 seconds.
The manufacturer claims that the stated average petrol consumption of 4.3 liters per 100 km (54.7 MPG) has been confirmed in real-world conditions with certain test examples showing even superior economy. When full, the car offers around 1,300 km (808 miles) of driving range.
The standard Geely Xingyue L/KX11, like the one shown in the video here, use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine available in two versions. One produces 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) and 325 Nm (240 lb-ft) of torque and needs 7.9 seconds for the standard sprint. The other one makes 238 PS (235 hp / 175 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) and needs 0.2 seconds less than that. Depending on your chosen trim level, prices lie in the 137,200 – 185,200 Yuan range.
