The Chinese automaker has finished the certification procedures for a new battery-powered SUV dubbed the Maple 01, otherwise known as the Maple Youxing 6.
The concept car it is based upon debuted in June 2022 under the name of Livan Concept L. Since both Livan and Maple are sub-brands owned by Ruilan Automobile, it is possible that the company will produce two nearly identical cars based on this design.
The crossover coupe is 4.64 meters (181.25 inches) long and uses a single electric motor rated at 163 PS (161 hp / 120 kW). A quick-release traction battery enables owners to swap the pack at a Ruilan charging station instead of waiting for it to charge up.
