Genesis originally introduced its new two-seat compact car called the Mint at the New York Motor Show in April. Now, the Korean brand has confirmed that the concept will reach the mass market.
The Mint is an all-electric vehicle with 200 miles (322 km) of range, original swinging doors, and as many as seven displays inside. Renowned automotive designer Alexander Selipanov headed the team responsible for the design of the rather unique car.
Genesis claims the Mint embodies ‘the paragon of the urban car’: it is compact, practical, and has a roomy interior. The company does not disclose any of the technical specs at this time.
The EV is slated for release in 2021 or later. Genesis’ next release will be the GV80, its first-ever SUV.
