Premium automaker Genesis hits the road with a prototype car again, this time a battery crossover known only as the JW EV. Care for a closer look?
According to still unconfirmed sources, the model utilizes the E-GMP platform of the Hyundai 45 Concept shown in the video here. Despite the camo, one can discern the trademark horizontal headlights, spacious wheel arches and a coupe-like body shape.
The newcomer is expected to arrive in the showrooms with one and two electric motors, the latter version having AWD by default. In terms of range, the JW EV should prove superior to the Hyundai Kona Electric, which comes manufacturer-rated at 452 kilometers (281 miles) of range.
Customers in Europe won’t be getting the SUV until the second half of 2021.
