This Genesis GV70 test mule spied recently in South Korea differs quite a bit from what we had seen on other spy photos so far. One theory says it might be an unannounced ‘Sport’ trim of the main model.
The different radiator grille, larger exhaust finishers, black air intake bezels and 20-inch wheels all seem to indicate that this is not a usual GV70.
The manufacturer has not specified yet whether the alleged Sport package will only be available when purchasing the top-end 380hp / 280kW GV70 or for other versions, too.
The upcoming crossover will also ship with turbocharged four-cylinder engines rated at 305 hp / 227 kW (gasoline) and 210 hp / 156 kW (diesel). Both use eight-speed manual transmission and can be obtained in RWD and AWD variants.
The Genesis GV70 will celebrate its public debut in the fall of 2020.
