Genesis coupe-SUV EV spied testing

The South Korean electric carmaker keeps testing its coupe-shaped crossover SUV that still has no official name or launch date.

The car wears enough camo to prevent us from studying the smaller details, but there is no missing the steeply inclined roof. That, and we expect it to ship with two-tier headlights, like all other recent models of the premium brand.

It is being speculated that the car will come based on the Hyundai Motor Company’s E-GMP platform, which supports rear-wheel drive by default and powers the upcoming Ioniq 5 (see video). Charging the battery from empty to 80% full will take mere 18 minutes, and the driving range will lie close to 500 kilometers (310 miles).
