Genesis reveals the inside space of the X Speedium Coupe

Let’s see how the South Korean automaker envisions its typical future two-seater.

The interior makes intensive use of eco-friendly materials and is color-coded into multiple zones. The entire space seems to want to emphasize the driver’s role: the center console is not only installed at an angle facing the driver, but also hidden from the front passenger’s view with a bar. Not only that, but the driver seat is the only one trimmed in black.

In its press release, the company mentions an optimized infotainment UI, an innovative performance indicator for the electric powertrain (probably a dash gauge of sorts) and a high-end audio system with high-frequency satellites included for better sound. Concrete numbers and specs are not mentioned.

It is important to note that the X Speedium Coupe is a design study and therefore will likely not be getting a production run. However, its individual features and technologies may later find use in other production cars.
