Genesis has come to the Los Angeles Auto Show with a concept car named simply the X. It is a convertible that incorporates the carmaker’s new design language dubbed ‘Athletic Elegance’.
The roof can be folded, and even when it’s not, you can still enjoy the view above thanks to a hatch. There is a ducktail spoiler at the rear, and the overhangs are rather short – just like on the X Speedium Coupe concept revealed earlier.
The interior has four seats and reportedly draws inspiration from Korean architecture. For example, the main trim color – Giwa Navy – is commonly found on the shingled roofs of houses in South Korea.
All we know about the tech right now is that the car is electric. Whether or not it will go into production remains to be announced.
The Los Angeles Auto Show opened its doors for the media earlier today. The wide public will be allowed in on Friday, November 18.
