We’ve already seen the 2021 Genesis G70 testing on public roads, but today, the first photos appeared that show it without disguise – looks like a leak from the factory.
Predictably enough, the new G70 has been given a new radiator grille and two-part headlights to resemble its senior cousins more closely. The taillights are also new, and the oval exhaust tips are larger than before.
Another interesting detail concerns the engine: a “2.0T” badge clearly visible at the rear, despite rumors that the facelift will trade its old 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mill for a superior one with 2.5 liters of displacement and 300 hp (225 kW) at the crank. Then again, maybe this particular example is outdated or meant for a different sales region.
The refreshed Genesis G70 should come into the spotlight in a few months’ time.
