Genesis has launched its refreshed G70 model in South Korea. You can get the entry spec (2.0L, 250 hp / 186 kW) for as little as 40,350,000 Korean Won (around $35,600 USD), making it more affordable than the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
Opting for a 200-hp (150-kW) diesel engine would necessitate 43,590,000 KRW ($38,500) or more if you want options. The top trim level goes for 45,850,000 KRW ($40,460) and packs a 3.3-liter V6 rated at 370 hp (276 kW).
To put things into perspective, the G70’s closest competitor – the Audi A4 – starts from 48.5 million KRW in South Korea, which translates into $42,800 USD.
The facelifted model brings along a larger 10.25-inch multimedia display with a touch-based interface, and it supports over-the-air (OTA) updates.
