The facelifted Genesis G70 (see video) is already on sale in South Korea and will soon be coming to the States as well, starting with the Launch Edition.
The limited series of 500 sedans will feature exclusive 19-inch wheels, interior in red and black, and an exterior finish in either Matte White or Matte Grey. It is worth mentioning that both finishes are available in the base spec in Korea.
As for the 3.3-liter turbocharged six-cylinder under the hood, we expect it to be identical to the standard G70 mill rated at 370 PS (365 hp / 272 kW) and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends the power to either the rear wheels or all four, and supports Drift Mode.
The regular G70 also comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo-four in North America, which is rated at 255 PS (251 hp / 188 kW) and 353 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque. Some markets additionally get a 2.2-liter TDI option with 202 PS (200 hp / 149 kW) and 441 Nm (326 lb-ft).
Trim levels will be announced later. The Launch Edition will start shipping alongside the standard sedan, and you can make your pre-order now. The pre-facelift version came in between $37,025 and $49,225; it remains to be seen what kind of a premium the 2021 Launch Edition will pack.
