Camera-wielding spies first spotted the wagon version of the Genesis G70 nine months ago, so it would be about time for the car to start shedding its camo. However, the prototype detected this weekend in the Nürburgring paddock continues to hide itself under thick wrap and faux paneling.
Like all other Genesis models of late, the new G70 should debut with a dual-tier front fascia. A closer look at the photos reveals headlight dividing bars not completely concealed by stickers. The same thing can be observed at the rear end.
The interior remains a mystery, but we have little doubt that it will be nearly identical to that of the G70 sedan in both layout and features. As for the powertrain, the 2.0-liter turbo-four engine might stay in the lineup or yield its place to a new 2.5-liter turbo mill.
