Genesis GV60 power and range revealed

Genesis has been spoon-feeding us details about its upcoming GV60 EV for a while now. In mid-August, it revealed the cabin and the exterior, followed by a couple of features a few weeks ago and now – finally! – the powertrain specifications.

As it turns out, the entry spec of the crossover SUV produces 228 PS (225 hp / 160 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. Another option comes in the form of a dual-motor powertrain capable of 318 PS (314 hp / 234 kW) and 605 Nm (446 lb-ft) of torque. Finally, the Performance spec offers 435 PS (429 hp / 320 kW) by default, but you can boost it to 490 PS (483 hp / 360 kW) for a brief moment and go 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in four seconds flat.

All Genesis GV60 cars use the same traction battery rated at 77.4 kilowatt-hours. The RWD version gets 450 km (280 miles) of range out of it. The middle spec sacrifices range for power and gets 400 km (248 miles), while the Performance spec makes do with just 368 km (229 miles) of range. On the upside, charging at a high-power terminal will get you from zero to 80% in 18 minutes.
