Genesis GV90-based, full-sized battery SUV expected to debut in 2023

Genesis Motor Company is only six years old, but it has grand electrification plans. By 2030, it expects to have seven new EVs in addition to the GV60 model shown here – and it is just the beginning.

Earlier this year, Genesis successfully applied for seven trademarks including GV90e. Korean Car Blog believes that a model under that name is already in development, envisioned as an upmarket alternative to the GV80 and an electric flagship. The premiere could take place as soon as 2023, but the sales might take a year longer to begin.

Platform-wise, the luxury off-roader will probably be based on the E-GMP architecture of the GV60, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and other recent cars of these three brands.
