A fresh portion of Genesis GV70e spy pics has cropped up recently, coming from snowy Sweden. The amount of camouflage going on is frankly puzzling for a vehicle set to be only marginally different from the ICE-powered GV70 (see video).
You can tell the test vehicle is an EV thanks to a solid/fake front grille and shallow slits in the front bumper not really pretending to be air intakes. The rear end is not visible, but we expect a new bumper and a diffuser without any faux exhaust tips.
It is official that the GV70e comes based on Hyundai’s latest international platform designed specifically for EVs. This platform comes with several powerful motor options to choose from and a driving range of 310 miles (500 kilometers).
The premiere should take place sometime before the end of the year.
