The resplendent Genesis GV70 will soon be getting an all-electric version, which will debut later this week at the Auto Guangzhou 2021. In the meantime, here is a teaser preview of it.
Depicted on the photo is a front end of the electric car with a fake radiator grille and the marque’s signature two-tier headlights. Little else can be seen, unfortunately.
While not official, rumors have been circulating for a while now that the GV70e will come based on the same electric powertrain as the G80. If true, then it will pack two motors jointly rated at 370 PS (365 hp / 272 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The G80 sedan can sprint 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 4.9 seconds, and there is every reason to expect the GV70e to be able to do the same.
