The South Korean carmaker has just registered trademarks G70e, GV70e, G80e, GV80e, G90e, and GV90e, where “e” has to mean “electric”.
It looks like the company is getting ready for a large-scale electrification of its range. Having said that, it has no GV90 model on offer with a petrol engine. It remains to be seen whether this new model will be available in two versions – ICE and EV – or just the electric one.
Some of the vehicles will come based on the E-GMP platform of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia CV, which grants around 500 kilometers (310 miles) of range and 100 km (62 miles) from just five minutes of fast charging.
