The Korean premium vehicle manufacturer will participate in the New York International Auto Show opening in a couple of days, but in the meantime, the company decided to dispense with the mystery and show us its coupe-like GV80 model ahead of the schedule.
The car is still technically considered a concept, but since we’ve seen a camouflaged GV80 prototype running around with a coupe-like roof, there is little doubt the production car is already in development.
The show car is a four-seater with carbon-fiber seats insider offering enhanced lateral support and Nappa leather upholstery. The seat backs are finished in Magma Red, just like the exterior.
The automaker stays silent regarding the powertrain details, but the standard GV80 SUV uses a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 in its top spec, delivering 379 PS (374 hp / 279 kW) at the crank.
