The renowned car maker GMC has announced the forthcoming release of a rather unconventional pickup truck model called All Mountain. Apparently, the car traded its wheels for tracks for added efficiency in the most extreme road conditions and driving on deep snow.
The GMC All Mountain was designed around the heavy pickup GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali 4WD Crew Cab. Wheels were replaced by Mattracks-brand track assemblies. The concept was outfitted with the state-of-the-art 6.6L V8 engine capable of 450 hp and 1234 maximum torque. Other notable features include automatic transmission and, naturally, the all-wheel drive.
The car received bottom protection, LED lights, leather-draped interior and a modern stereo system by Bose. There is also a dedicated holder for Thule snowboards.
Official introduction of the GMC All Mountain will take place at the International Car Show in Los Angeles on November 28.
