GM sub-brand announces two all-electric vans

BrightDrop, a commercial vehicle marque owned by General Motors, will launch an electric LCV named the EV600 this fall along with two other EVs for businesses.

The corresponding statement was made by GM CEO Mary Barra. The EV600 (see the gallery and the video) will hit the showrooms simultaneously with the GMC Hummer EV and shortly before the Cadillac Lyriq EV. Later on, the company aspires to offer vehicles for “all transportation and towing needs imaginable”. Barra did not reveal any specific launch dates.

According to Automotive News, one of these two still-unnamed electric vans will be a full-size commercial van with a Chevrolet badge. The other one will allegedly be mid-size, hydrogen-powered commercial car; the branding remains unknown.
