GMC Canyon AT4X gets outfitted for long expeditions

A company named Peak Suspension has come to this year’s LA Auto Show with a GMC Canyon AT4X truck outfitted for serious trips into the wilderness. You can barely recognize it with all the mods on.

The suspension has been lifted by 50 mm (2 inches) at the front and 25 mm (1 inch) at the back. The company has also optimized the mounting points of the differential and the sway bar and added spaces to the skid plates. The suspension received Timbren active dampers, and the wheels were wrapped in 35-inch Falken Wildpeak RT tires.

An expedition rack appeared on the roof along with a camping tent and a 270-degree awning. The driver will know to appreciate all the added KC lighting, which can make all the difference driving at night or in bad weather. Finally, a Magnaflow exhaust system was added to the otherwise stock powertrain.

A custom wrap with Peak Suspension badges and topographic patterns rounded off the build.
