GMC has a plethora of useful off-road functions planned for its Hummer EV, including 4WS and a special drive mode called Crab Walk, enabling it to sidle diagonally to maneuver into tight parking sports and through narrow driveways.
The latest video has the electric truck cooking up donuts again, as well as going sideways in snow. It benefits from an Extract Mode air suspension kit that grants it 15 cm (6 inches) of extra ground clearance, 35-inch off-road tires, and as many as 18 video cameras. Two cameras residing at the bottom monitor road quality in real time to make suspension adjustments.
The revival of the Hummer marque under the GM banner took place last October. The truck will arrive in Edition 1 this fall, packing triple electric motors and 1,014 PS (1,000 hp / 745 kW). It will need three seconds to get to 97 km/h (60 miles per hour) and will have 560 kilometers (348 miles) of range on a single charge.
