Kelly Wearstler, a well-known interior designer from the United States, has come up with a rather futuristic-looking project of a garage for the electric GMC Hummer pickup. Care for a glimpse of luxury?
The building has two floors connected with a posh motorized pedestal that can lift your Hummer EV to the living quarters above or drop it down to the garage below. The interior also takes styling cues from the battery truck: note the glass roof and the illuminated gate.
Kelly’s garage is located in a desert, but she says you could implement something similar in an urban environment. And don’t be too shy about having a car parked on a podium in your living room: after all, when you invest in something as substantial and expensive, it becomes an integral part of your life, doesn’t it?
