GMC has unveiled a new Hummer EV version called the Omega Edition. The special series is coming to us in Q1 2024 in both body styles.
The base vehicle is the range-topping Hummer EV 3X (see video), which additionally gets loaded with the Extreme Off-Road Package. The exterior gets sprayed in Neptune Blue Matte, a shade inspired by our Solar System’s eighth and most remote planet. Black badges and special 18-inch wheels round off the exterior styling. You can opt for see-through roof panels and an exclusive floor lining instead of the usual mats.
The truck version of the Omega comes with the manufacturer’s signature MultiPro tailgate installed, which now has Kicker audio speakers built into it. The SUV version gets a new spare wheel cover with a stylized image of Neptune on it.
Prices will begin from $149,995 for the truck and $139,995 for the SUV, with the first deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of the next year. Some of the potential buyers have already seen both cars on display at the Formula 1 Miami earlier this year. Those interested could try out the Watts to Freedom launch mode letting the truck snap off the start line and hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds flat despite its sheer bulk and weight. The SUV is barely behind with a launch time of 3.5 seconds.
