Hennessey Performance, a U.S-based tuner whom we hardly need to introduce, has released the HPE Goliath 700 Supercharged, which is what you call a GMC Sierra 1500 once it gets a 700-hp V8 and a body kit.
The stock Sierra is only good for 420 hp (313 kW) – which is arguably not bad at all, but sky’s the limit, right? Anyway, the extra 280 hp (209 kW) are courtesy of a new distribution shaft, cooling system, an ECU remap and an exhaust upgrade. All of the above reduces the standard sprint time to just 4.3 seconds.
The truck gets a new front bumper to show for the upgrade, as well as LED lights and 20-inch wheels. Chrome-coated details, a power-assisted tonneau cover and a snorkel pipe are listed under options.
The entire kit, including all of the exterior stuff, will set you back U.S. $41,000.
