ORA, a subordinate brand of Great Wall Motor Company, has unveiled ORA, its third production car slated to hit the streets in the coming weeks.
The exterior of the new car seems to abide by the principle “the less the better”. The body outlines are quite unusual, however, and the front part indeed has some kind of feline resemblance – just as the ads and the model name suggest.
The cabin is finished in predominantly light hues and resembles the marque’s first model – the ORA R1 – in layout and grouping (watch the video if you want to compare). There is a touch-sensitive infotainment screen that merges with the digital dashboard, as well as a plethora of handy options, such as a wireless charger, lane control, ESP and AEB.
The newcomer hits the market with two engines (48 and 62 hp) and two batteries (34 and 38 kWh) to choose from. Thanks to the relatively low engine power, the range amounts to 401 km (250 miles) with the larger of the two batteries installed.
Prices start from the equivalent of U.S. $10,800.
