Great Wall Motor Company has premiered Chaopai, a sedan prototype with “neoclassical” looks and production prospects.
The exterior bodywork and chrome detailing strike us as characteristic of the Japanese automotive industry in the second half of the 20th century. Having said that, a former Land Rover employee was responsible for the design.
The Chaopai interior gives off the same “vintage” vibes with its round instrument gauges, air blowers and the front panel as a whole.
The technical side of the project remains unexplored, but the interesting part is that Great Wall actually wants to bring this concept into production soon.
