Ora, an EV sub-brand owned by Great Wall, will attend the 2021 Auto Shanghai trade fair with a new design car that it claims has been inspired by the VW Beetle, but we suspect the Porsche Panamera was also involved somehow.
The car has a four-door fastback body with a fixed rear window and 2.8 meters (9.2 feet) of inter-axle spacing. Other dimensions remain undisclosed.
Swing open the door, and you will be greeted by four individual seats, a dashboard with three gauge niches, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and another modest-sized display.
Technical specifics are lacking, but assuming the car has two electric motors mounted on per axle, it should be able to go 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.5 seconds.
Whether the new Ora is a pure design study or a preview of a production car remains to be seen.
