Haval presents a hybrid SUV named Raptor

The Haval Raptor, previously known as B26 or Xianglong, will go on sale in China in late 2023 with Great Wall’s Hi-4 hybrid powertrain under the hood. CarNewsChina expects the prices to start from 200,000 Yuan.

At 4,680 mm long, 1,916 mm wide and 1,822 tall with 2,738 mm of wheelbase, the crossover SUV virtually matches the size of its sibling named Dargo. A boxier body, larger grille and a tailgate coffer make it look more rugged and masculine, though.
The manufacturer reports the ground clearance as 200 mm (8 inches) and the approach/departure angles as 24 and 30 degrees, respectively. The car can wade water up to 560 mm (21.9 inches) tall.

As for the powertrain, in incorporates an unspecified electric motor and a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 167 PS (165 hp / 123 kW) and 243 Nm (179 lb-ft) of torque.

The buyers will be choosing from two LiFePo4 battery packs. One is rated at 19 kilowatt-hours and yields 102 km (63 miles) of range. The other one stores up to 27.54 kWh and should be enough for 145 km (90 miles) in all-electric mode. Fuel economy in mixed-cycle driving is manufacturer-estimated at 6 liters per 100 km (39 MPG).
