2024 Haval Dargo photos leak suggesting a mild facelift

Great Wall car brand Haval only launched its crossover SUV DaGou (known outside of China as ‘Big Dog’ or ‘Dargo’) three years ago, but a slight refresh is already coming to the model promising an updated exterior and a boosted engine. AutoHome.cn believes that sales in China should start soon.

The main novelty at the front end is a rectangular radiator grille sporting two larger bars instead of the usual three. There is large ‘HAVAL’ lettering on the top bar. New wheel and color options may become available, but it remains to be seen. At the rear, the taillights have been redesigned and are now connected with an LED strip.

In China, the entry-level DaGou model comes equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine good for 184 PS (181 hp / 135 kW) and 275 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is of the seven-speed dual-clutch type, and only the front wheels are driven. If you would rather have AWD, your choice should fall on the 2.0L four-cylinder version boosted in the facelift version to 238 PS (235 hp / 175 kW). The transmission stays the same.

The interior and the pricing details remain to be revealed. The current DaGou model (shown in the rest of the gallery and the video) starts from 119,900 Yuan on its domestic market.
