Haval has shared some images of its latest full-size frame SUV, the H5. CarNewsChina is reporting that it will be the largest in the automaker’s off-road lineup with 5.2 meters (17 feet) of body length.
Despite such generous dimensions, the H5 is envisioned as a five-seater with a spacious trunk area (up to 2,116 liters, or 74.7 cubic feet, large). It is set to go on sale before the end of the year priced from 120,000 Yuan.
Nearly the entire front part of the cabin looks borrowed from the Great Wall Poer King Kong truck, which is based on the same platform. The displays, the steering wheel, the dash panel with distinct air vents and the HVAC unit – everything looks familiar. The seats are trimmed with leather, and there is a panoramic roof in the base spec.
In China, the off-roader will be offered with a variety of petrol and diesel engines rated from 166 to 224 PS (164–221 hp; 122–165 kW).
