The third generation of the Haval H6 debuted in China in 2020 and is ripe for a mid-life refresh. Shortly before the premiere, Haval released three images highlighting the main visual changes. Sales remain scheduled for Q3 2023.
Judging by the photos, the new H6 will get a seriously redesigned radiator grille and front bumper. The current version has two different grille designs for the petrol and the PHEV version (see video). The new design doesn’t resemble either, though. The headlights have the same shape, but the patterns are new.
A side view reveals pretty much the same car except for a subtly tweaked shoulder line. Other notable features include a panoramic sunroof and new taillights.
The interior hasn’t been shown yet, but some changes are definitely expected there as well. The current H6 has a laconic dashboard with standalone dash and multimedia displays, a three-spoke steering wheel and a wide center console.
All technical info remains to be confirmed. Earlier patent filings by Haval suggested that the 2024 H6 would continue to ship with its 1.5T and 2.0T engines, as well as a plug-in hybrid powertrain. A revised body kit makes the car 58 millimeters longer than before, for a total of 4,711 mm.
