Hennessey Venom F5 sold out from $2.1M+

Renowned tuner Hennessey Performance exhibited a blue and a golden example of its Venom F5 hypercar at the Monterey Car Week, and ended up pre-selling the entire planned production batch of 24 units starting from $2.1 million.

According to CEO John Hennessey, this is merely the beginning of the path destined for the F5. The company is already working on a track-focused upgrade package for it, which will include a revised aero kit. This is not to say that the Venom is not a de-facto track tool as it is. Due to a lack of airbags, it is only road-legal for around 4,000 kilometers (2,500 miles) of public road driving per year in the United States.

Hennessey added that the company was also putting an effort into something ‘literally out of this world’, without providing any further details or even a hint. Tesla Roadster’s rocket boosters come to mind, but what else could it be?...
