Hennessey Performance had intended to show us its Venom F5 Revolution hyper-roadster during the Monterey Car Week on August 18, but decided to dispense with the mystery.
The topless track weapon in the photos is wearing a racing body kit with the front splitter, rear diffuser and rear wing looking especially massive. Despite having a removable top, the car comes with a roof scoop for engine cooling that only slightly overlaps the cabin when the top if off.
Like its coupe counterpart, the Venom F5 roaster utilizes a 6.6-liter V8 twin-turbocharged to deliver 1,842 PS (1,817 hp / 1,355 kW) to the wheels.
Hennessey only has plans for 12 such vehicles, each of which will be priced from U.S. $3,000,000. The entire batch is already sold out, and the tuning company promises to customize each example to look and feel unique.
