U.S.-based automaker and tuner Hennessey will only be producing several dozen Venom F5 hypercars in both coupe and roadster body styles. It’s therefore surprising to see two of them go on sale almost at once. The roadster is already available to bid for, while the coupe is scheduled for sale tomorrow, March 1. Both are guaranteed to cross the $1,000,000 mark.
The company’s current plans involve making 24 Venom F5 coupes and 30 roadsters. Both vehicles on sale right now were number 2 in their respective batches. Powered by a purpose-built 6.6-liter Fury V8, they send over 1,840 PS (1,815 hp / 1,353 kW) to the wheels and zap 0-96.6 km/h (0-60 mph) in 2.5 seconds.
The seller of the Venom F5 Coupe took delivery of it in 2022, but has since only put 360 km (224 miles) on it. It will be available for bidding tomorrow and is estimated between $1.2–1.65 million. The roadster is a more recent 2023 model with 864 km (536 miles) on the odometer. The bidding has already passed $1.31 million with several days remaining.
