General Motors is axing its Holden marque in Australia and New Zealand later this year, but tuners aren’t fond of this decision. Among others, Walkinshaw Performance will soon start shipping a tuning kit for the Holden Colorado pickup.
The kit is called “Colorado 550 Pack by Walkinshaw Performance” and fits the trucks produced between 2018 and 2020. A total of 100 packages will be offered, and you can leave a pre-order right now even though the final price hasn’t been announced yet.
Included in the box are a new radiator grille with the Walkinshaw logo, a new bumper with red towing eyes, a ventilated hood, fender flares and a special tailgate molding.
From the technical point of view, the truck gets a boost in ride height and changes wheels to a custom 18x10-inch forged aluminum set painted black and wrapped in Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/60 tires.
Rounding off the project is a plaque under the hood cover that says “Walkinshaw Performance Build Plate X/100”, where X is the serial number of your kit. No power upgrades are offered this time around, although the tuner did work with the Colorado powertrain before (see video).
