Honda has finally gave us some early teaser pics showing its upcoming all-electric car that will celebrate its live premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland in spring 2019.
If the sketches are to be trusted, Honda designers definitely drew their inspiration from the Urban EV Concept that debuted in 2017. Even though the car we will be seeing at the Geneva show will be a concept, rather than a production-ready vehicle, Honda promises to launch sales before the end of the current year.
The vehicle depicted here trades mirrors for video cameras (just like the Audi e-tron and Lexus ES) and has a digital display instead of the radiator grille.
Spy shots of the upcoming EV model had already been made earlier. Back then, the test mule sported round headlights, door grips concealed in pillars, and a charging port in the hood cover.
The company promises to ship the car with a digital dashboard, which isn’t really new or surprising. Other than that, details are scarce right now.
A rumor claims the hatchback will offer around 250 kilometers (155 miles) of range from a single charge.
