Honda has unveiled the facelifted version of its BR-V SUV it designed specifically for Asian markets four years ago. The changes are mostly cosmetic, but they are there, so let’s have a look.
The FWD soft-roader continues to utilize the Honda Mobilio platform and measures 4,453 millimeters (14.6 ft.) long. It sports redesigned bumpers, a larger radiator grille with a black fin in the middle, and a chrome stripe connecting the taillights. There are also slight changes in the body kit and wheels.
Inside, there is now a multimedia system with a large touchscreen display and new seat upholstery.
From the technical perspective, though, the Honda BR-V facelift remains unaltered. It still ships with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine rated at 120 hp / 90 kW, available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Some countries also get a 1.5-liter diesel option rated at 100 hp / 75 kW.
The prices begin at U.S. $16,800.
