The Japanese automaker will be attending the Auto China Show in Beijing with a concept vehicle destined to become the marque’s first production EV meant exclusively for that market.
Based on the only teaser pic available, the EV is getting edgy and narrow headlights connected by a zigzagging LED strip. There is no front grille of any kind, and a three-dimensional Honda logo takes up the space where one would have been. Anti-fog lights can be seen at the lower front end.
Other noteworthy features include a hood cover with prominent relief, miniature side mirrors and multi-spoke alloy wheels. All of the above sounds like a coupe/SUV kind of car, but the manufacturer refrains from commenting.
Honda’s Auto China booth will also exhibit the CR-V PHEV (see video) along with a few other electrified models.
