In honor of the 70-year anniversary the Japanese company Honda Motor will revive the sports two-seater Honda S2000 roadster. It is expected, that new generation of the sports car will be shown to public in the second half of 2018.
The car will receive an electric supercharging system, which should significantly improve technical characteristics of the engine. In particular, the electric drive f turbines will provide more optimal fuel consumption, and the driver will forget about such unpleasant phenomenon as turbo lag.
The power plant, in its turn, is provided by a 4-cylinder inline engine with 2 liters in volume. The capacity generated by it will reach about 320 h.p. The 8-staged robotized gearbox with two clutches will work togeter with it.
The start price of the revived roadster in the market will be around 50 000 dollars. For the first time Honda S2000 was provided to public in 1998, during the celebration of semicentennial anniversary of the Japanese autocompany.
