The UR-V and the Avancier are Honda’s largest crossover SUVs on the market of China. Both debuted in 2017 and received mid-life updates a couple of years in. Some of us expected the next generation, but the company argued that it would not be viable in the EV era. Both models will be facelifted one last time – the UR-V first.
Compared to its predecessor (see video), the refreshed SUV sports 19-inch wheels and a new radiator grille. It also no longer uses halogen lights. For the first time for the model, buyers can order it with an optional blackout package called Black Jazz.
The interior draws attention to its modified dashboard with a standalone infotainment system display rising above it. The diagonal size is slightly larger at 10.1 inches. The instruments are still analog – no digital dash option on the list.
The engine assortment stays the same, but the output has dropped slightly. The entry-level turbo four-pot now makes 188 metric horsepower instead of 188, and the top specification now offers 261 PS instead of 272.
