The second generation of Honda Amaze sedan can now be pre-ordered in India with a humble advance payment of 21,000 rupees (slightly above 300 USD). First vehicles will reach their owners in May 2018.
The new 2018 Honda Amaze takes advantage of a more up-to-date platform and is just under four meters (13 ft.) long, which allows it to enjoy a tax benefit on the Indian automotive market.
According to the manufacturer, the refreshed Honda Amaze will be made available with two drivetrain choices: a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine and a 1.5-liter turbo diesel. Their specific parameters aren’t disclosed, but it’s perhaps worth reminding that the previous Amaze lineup featured the same engine palette with 88 hp (66 kW) and 100 hp (75 kW), respectively.
